Module 5: Engaged Learning

Overview

This module will cover essential topics such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL)—your blueprint for meeting diverse student needs through varied engagement, representation, action, and expression. We’ll illuminate the path to making learning visible, allowing students to track their progress and identify growth areas. With a focus on multimodal activities, we’re moving beyond traditional one-size-fits-all approaches to embrace diverse learning preferences, ensuring activities resonate with your objectives and truly engage your students. Plus, we’ll delve into community building techniques, fostering a supportive space where students can freely make mistakes, share ideas, and learn collaboratively, celebrating diversity and enhancing peer-to-peer interaction.
